ESSEX, MONTANA

Nick was scrolling through some old villain profiles from enemies he had fought in the past. "Man, wish I had more of a challenge, but I did fight a lot of enemies in the past." Nick let out while resting his head on his hand. It had been a long day due to Zander having an accident and Kylaine needing help with her car. At this point Nick was getting ready for bed. For now though, things seemed peaceful.

Nick had just retired two months ago after fighting the DREAMBREAKERS. An elite villain group who had planned to use the energy of people's dreams against them. Nick had a hard time fighting them and was clearly out of practice. He used that experience to realise that he couldn't skimp on his training. Something he had done everyday up to that point. But retirement had made him slightly lazy.

Nick looked out the window at the Montana evening. Nick secretly wished that somewhere out there, anywhere. That someone needed help. Without warning and almost like an answer, Teardrop his personal A.I. came up on the screen. "Good Afternoon Nicholas" Teardrop quipped cheerfully as she popped up on his screen. "Hey Teardrop, what is it?" Nick said tiredly.

"I have received a distress call from deep space. It seems urgent. May I play it for you?" Teardrop said nonchantly. "Sure, it must be important if you didn't discard it like the last 5 deep space radio bursts." Nick quipped.

"Beginning playback." As Teardrop said that a window opened labeled "DISTRESS CALL" came up on the screen. Nick listened to it closely. "Hello? Is anyone receiving this? If so, my home, Sirca. Is in the midst of a deep civil war. And we need help. If you can come, please do. I'll be leaving coordinates to our world for you to follow. Goodbye." The playback ended and the window closed.

Nick's eyes lighted up like neon lights. Finally someone needed his help! Something that he had been waiting for. "Teardrop, get those coordinates, looks like we're going on a space trip." Nick said with a smirk on his face. It had been a while since Nick had gone to space. Last time doing so was when fighting Frederick, his adoptive brother 3 years ago.

Nick sprung into action. First calling his friend Hanna in New Hampshire to get plans set up for a space faring, FTL capable ship that could get him to Sirca. Nick picked up his phone and called her. The phone rang for a few seconds before another voice came on the other end.

"Hey Nick, what's up" Hanna said, sitting at her desk looking at blueprints for a railgun weapon. "Hey Hanna, I need you to do something for me." Nick said with an adventurous tone in his voice.

"Sure, what is it?" Hanna said as she brought out her computer and begin typing. "I need a space faring, FTL capable ship that can support up to 4-5 people for long space travel." Nick said, looking at some UNSC ship plans teardrop had recommended. "Sure, you got some plans for one? Can't just expect me to build one outta the blue ya know." Hanna said snarky. "Yep, Teardrop is sending you plans for a Winter-Class Prowler." Hanna's computer screen light up with schematics for a Winter Class prowler. Complete with entire dimensions and armament details.

"Perfect, this'll do just nicely." Hanna said with a smile on her face. "Perfect, when do you think you'll have it ready for me at Billings Airport?" Nick said curiously. "Well with these plans, it should take about a month or so." "A MONTH?! Holy crap Hanna, did you really get that good in a few years??" Nick said surprised.

"Yeah, well you know when you get better at fighting enemies and not taking 5 years to kill one, let me know." Hanna said, chuckling. "Oh screw you, it's not as easy as it looks." Nick remarked. The both of them continued talking and plans were made to how and where to take off. And to also prepare for Sirca, Nick made strict training regiments to fit. It would be exactly one month before his trip to Sirca.

And Nick was ready for more action, as retirement had made him tired of the peace. You know, because you can only let a hero sit for so long before they get antsy.
